The genus Delias is represented in Vietnam by 12 species – agoranis, vietnamensis, patrua, subnubila, sanaca, berinda, belladonna, pasithoe, acalis, descombesi, agostina and hyparethe (Monastyrskii & Devyatkin, 2016).
The last authors listed 3 subspecies of Delias pasithoe in the country: pasithoe (extreme North - Lao Cai Prov.), thyra (N. and C.), and nigrescens (S.).

Quite common in Hanoi and can be seen all year round. The population will suddenly increase in winter (migrants?); it is much less frequently seen in summer
