102. Udaspes folus (The Grass Demon)

The Grass Demon is widespread in the Oriental Region but not necessarily common. Occurs in lowland forests as well as semicleared partly cultivated areas around villages.

  Another specimen, from Hanoi City this one, found in a small wooded patch surrounded by agricultural fields. It was feeding on cycada urine, called ‘honey dew’
