This is one of the smallest of butterflies to
be found, commonly, on grass patches fringing roads, open areas as well as
wooded localities. It is almost inconspicuous fluttering lowly about its usual
haunts and is easily overlooked due to its size and drab colours.
Can be to distinguish from the other "Grass Blues" (genera Zizula, Zizeeria, Zizina) by its unique arrangement of spots.

Submarginal spots on both wings not distinct and diffused, spot in space 6 of the HW is displaced and out of alignment with the adjacent black spots
