Lyssa zampa (The Tropical Swallowtail Moth)

Species: Lyssa zampa (Butler 1869)
Common name(s): The Tropical Swallowtail Moth
Photography location: Foothills of Tam Dao (Vinh Phuc Prov.)

Geographical range. N.E. Himalaya to S. China and Malay Peninsula; Andamans (ssp. docile); Philippines; Sulawesi (ssp. dilutus). 
The host-plants are species of Endospermum (Euphorbiaceae).

An impressive looking moth, common in forest but also attracted to lights in urban areas.
