21. Neope muirheadi lahittei (The Black-spotted Labyrinth)

The genus Neope is represented in Vietnam by 6 species (and 7 taxa) - pulaha, armandii, muirheadi, bhadra, yama and oberthuri (Monastyrskii & Devyatkin, 2016).

In Vietnam, Neope muirheadi is only known from the north of the country and represented by 2 subspecies: N. muirheadi lahittei (Ninh Binh, Vinh Phuc, Bac Can) & N. muirheadi segonax (Lao Cai).
This species in often seen in the vicinity off bamboo – larvae feed on representative of genera Arundinaria, Bambusa, Phyllostachys
